| Education: Rostov Institute of Agricultural Engineering, welding dept (1964); Rostov Institute of Civil Engineering, dept of industrial and civil construction (1968); postgraduate course at Moscow Institute of Management (1985). |
Professional experience: From his very childhood Evgeny Ivakin wanted to become a builder. He began his labor life in 1959 as a fitter, welder; in 1964 he graduated after the institute of agricultural engineering, in 1968 he got his second higher education - of a civil engineer. For now he has been working in the construction business about forty years. Within these years he participated in construction of such well-known national-scale projects as the West-Siberian Metallurgical Works, Astrakhan Gas Complex, Tcherepovets Metallurgical Works, Rostselmash and Krasny Aksai plants reconstruction, rebuilding of Armenian cities destroyed by the 1986 earthquake, etc. In 1975 he joined the staff of RosSpetsStroy R&P, where was promoted from head of production and technical dept to Director General (1991), Chairman of the Committee of Directors (since 2001).

Published works, press comments: Evgeny Ivakin published over 200 works in the field of economics, including monograps Logistics in Capital Construction, the Rostov Region, two monographs, Marketing in Construction and Logistics in Constructions (both 2001), and Organization of Investment Planning.

Brother - Alexander Ivakin, Ph.D., assistant professor at North-Caucasian branch of Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics. Wife, Laryssa Ivakina, whom he married in August 4, 1978, is a musician, concertmaster of the Rostov Conservatoire, diplomant of an iternational contest (2002). |
