Professional experience: His career in science began in 1961 when he became as a junior member of research staff at the Don Technological University. He worked with the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Cybernetics (1964—1967), as the UNESCO expert was engaged in work on multilingual thesaurus (Paris, 1969—1970). Since 1970 Valeri A. Doliatovski has been head of the chair of theory of information at Rostov Institute of National Economy, now the Rostov State Economic University. Among his assignments were professorship with University of Algiers (1972—1977), professorship with Universit? M. Nguabi, Congo (1984—1990); he worked as a visiting professor with Universit? Joseph Fourier, France in 1995 and 1996. As key factors of his success, he names contacts with academicians V. Glushkov, N. Amosov, Yu. Antonomov, and A. Kogan, books on yoga, his own industriousness and inquisitiveness. |
