Professional experience: When Vladislav Diomkyn was a kid, he wanted to be a cosmonaut. He worked at NPO Energia as a senior engineer in charge of testing of rocket technology; was on public service, working at CPSU bodies and being elected deputy of the Kaliningrad (Moscow Region) Soviet of People Deputies (1977-1986). In 1985 he was appointed deputy head of assembling-and-testing sector of NPO Energia; from 1986 to 1990 worked as deputy director at the Zaria Vostoka plant, Tadjikistan. In 1990 he was appointed first deputy director general of NPO Vetroen, Moscow Region, in 1997 – an arbitration manager, then Director General of the Krasny Gidropress plant. An expert in field of engineering. Being asked about key factors of his success, he named his perseverance and persistence. |
