| Historical outlines: Mekhkolonna # 63 was organized as a specialized mobile unit of the USSR Ministry of Road and Railroad Construction on April 25, 1955. Originally its mission was earthwork in Ukraine, but three years later, due to an increase of construction works at Northern-Caucasian Railroad, it was relocated to Bataysk, Rostov Region. OJSC since 1993. |

A list of works performed by Mekhkolonna # 63 includes construction and putting into operation of such railroad lines as Divnoye–Elista (Kalmykia), Krasnodar–Tuapse (Krasnodar Territory), Marabda–Akhalkalaky (Georgia), and bypass Kizliar–Karlan-Yurt (Checnia) constructed on record short time; construction on highway sites Rostov–Novorossisk, Bolshoy Log–Starocherkassk, Oriol–Tambov, Voronezh–Rostov federal highway, etc.; branch-lines to the Rostselmash plant (Rostov-on-Don), Volgodonsk and Southern-Ukraininan nuclear power plants, Novocherkassk power plant, etc.; reconstruction and construction of Krasnodar railroad yard and Tuapse railroad yard; construction of Izhevsk airport and strips at Ordzhonikidze airport. Lately the company took part in construction of Russia–Turkey gas main. |
