|Professional experience: As a kid, Ivan Peronko wished for a football-player’s career; later on he chose to become an economist. However, he got his wish–to a some extent, being fully engaged in the Kuban football life.|
Having served the Army (1973—75), he studied economics at Kuban State University (1980), worked with the department of finance of the Krasnodar Krai Executive Committee (1980–85), headed the office of finance, the Armavir City Executive Committee (1985—87), was deputy head of the Krasnodar Krai Executive Committee’s department of finance (1987—90). Since 1990 Ivan Peronko has been working as chief executive of the Krasnodar Krai Tax Administration.
An expert in the areas of fiscal law and economics.
Being asked about key factors of his success, he named his father, How the Steel Was Tempered by Nikolay Ostrovsky, and his own firmness of purpose and work that he is really fond of.

|Preferences: He prizes highly such human qualities as decency, professionality, consideration for one’s associates; prefers to spend his days-off outdoor, fishing or hunting; flowers, especially roses, would be the best gift for him. He enjoys Tchaikovsky, Turgenev, movies with Kirill Lavrov, and Iosif Kobzon’s songs. Favorite dish—pelmeny; preferred drink—beer.|
