Professional experience: As a kid, Igor Gnevanov wished to be an architect. After military service (1976–78) he worked at the Magadan Department of Civil Aviation (1978–93), was engaged in private business (1993–99). Since 2000 he is co-founder of Cargointrans Company.
An expert in the field of civil aviation, he thinks that his success has been stemmed largely from his sense of duty and his obligation to his beloved ones. |
| Family: Mother, Tamara Gnevanova, worked as a seamstress; father, German Gnevanov, worked as a mechanic engineer. Wife, Victoria, whom he married on December 18, 1982, is a teacher. Two sons, Gleb (1984) and Artyom (1989). |
| Preferences: Igor Gnevanov prizes highly such human trait as the sense of duty and responsibility; he spends his days-off in an active mode; for him, good news are the best gift to be received. He likes historic novels, Peter Gabriel and Eric Clapton, and movies with Nikolay Karachentsev. Dogs are his favorite pets. |
