| Historical outlines: Afipsky Gasoline Plant was founded in 1963; renamed to Afipsky Gas-processing Plant in 1968. After merging with Krasnodar Oil Refinery in 1975 the plant got its present name and four years later was incorporated into Krasnodarnefteorgsintez group. Converted into Ltd. in 2002.

Staff: 1011 persons; among them 242 have higher education, 480, specialized secondary education.
The key principle of the company’s Human Resources policy is to place learning first. So, 435 employees attended advanced training programs and professional development programs, one employee was promoted to a postgraduate course in 2005; this year, the company supports 40 employees to get second degrees and one person to attend postgraduate course. Fifty-four students of Kuban State Technological University are on work practice, mostly the best students selected due to the Student Contest organized by the company in 2005. |

| Community affairs: As part of its ongoing partnership with local authorities, the company sponsors a lot of social and cultural events, makes contributions to local children’s home, Afipsky District Hospital No. 3, football club Kuban, the Center of Kuban Handicrafts and Folk Art, and local church. Last year Afipsky Oil Refinery Ltd. co-hosted the Kuban Economic Forum 2005, Sochi. |

| Projects: Construction of diesel oil (residual sulfur content: 10 ppm) hydrofining plant, total volume of investments: approx $60 million. The plant consists of hydrofining facilities, hydrogen-producing facility, sulfur-producing facility with the productivity of 10,000 tons per year; nitrogen-producing facility with the productivity of 2,000 Nm3 per hour; steam-producing facility with the productivity of 40 tons per hour and pressure of 15 atm.

| Plans, prospects: Recently, Afipsky Oil Refinery Ltd. has launched such large-scale project as building of a new oil reservoir, the first 10,000-ton reservoir to be built since 1996; in the medium-range perspective, the company plans to build an oil terminal and reconstruct the condensed gas-unloading jetty. In 2006, the company is to produce aviation kerosene and diesel oil under Euro 4 standards. |
